Former 'Deadliest Catch' Star Passes Away at 38

According to US Weekly, Blake Painter, a former star on Discovery's 'Deadliest Catch' has died at the age of 38. Police say that Painter’s body was found in his home on Friday, May 25, in Oregon after a friend of his notified authorities when he did not hear from Painter for days. Though substances — including prescription pills — were found in Painter’s home, a cause of death has not yet been revealed. Painter appeared during seasons 2 and 3 of the hit show as the captain of the F/V Maverick. He then voluntarily quit the program in 2007.
